This is even better than the last Git client. First SourceTree has been acquired by Atlassian and now they’re giving it away for free. You can get SourceTree on the Mac App Store or download it directly from the web page. The direct download requires registration to obtain a free license.
For all developers out there: Gitbox turned 1 and is now on sale for $9.99 instead of $39 for a limited time. Gitbox is a nice git client with a neat UI that integrates perfectly into OS X.
Digiarty offers 30.000 (30k!) coupons for a free license of WinX DVD Ripper Thanksgiving Edition. It’s the Platinum edition but lacks support – yes, we know the deal and surely can live with it.
My AirPort Utility just notfied me about a new firmware revision for my Time Capsule (currently running 7.5.2). The updated version 7.6 is available for AirPort Base Stations and Time Capsules and addreses 3 networking issues. It’s available for all 802.11n capable AirPort and Time Capsule devices.

Since last week my Piwik dashboard showed me a Google pagerank of 0 which I couldn’t believe. At first I thought the API was down but the problem remained for several days.
I’ll remember him for his life’s work that brought style and usability to our everyday electronics and appliances.
I’ll miss his charismatic appearances in the suspenseful keynotes.

VMware Fusion 4 now supports Mac OS X Lion 10.7 as guest system. Earlier versions only allowed server versions of Mac OS X to be installed as guest OS. Finally no more hacking around.
